Adam Samson

US Executive News Editor

Adam Samson is the US executive news editor. Based in New York, Adam oversees the FT's coverage of companies, financial markets and economies across the American network. Adam previously led the FT's coverage of Turkey from Ankara, where he reported on two elections, economic upheaval and broke stories on the country's clandestine trade with Russia.

Adam has also held several roles at the FT's headquarters in London, leading the paper's coverage of global markets and running its breaking news desk. He is an alumnus of New York's Bard College, where he studied economics.
